baptisms a Restult from LTC Involvement?

baptisms a Restult from LTC Involvement?
4/22/2003

There were 3 baptisms at church Sunday morning! It was a very emotional time for the members, as it was John Risse’s last Sunday. He is moving to Tennessee, and I would like to say that we will all miss him. One of the three baptisms just happened to be one of the boys I chaperoned last weekend at LTC. He gave me some minor trouble, just because he was hyperactive. I was hyperactive myself as a child, so I don’t blame him for being that way. I was so excited when I found out he was going to be baptized. It was encouraging to watch. I always try to be a good example when I have to be an authority figure, but sometimes it’s difficult to be caring and kind when you have a hyperactive kid who won’t settle down. His parents did tell me that he had good things to say about me, so I am thankful for that. It always makes me feel good when I am praised for a job well done. I hope that his faith will grow, and that he will continue to be involved with LTC. It’s a good program, and I will continue to be involved with it myself.

Yours truly, Joshua Clinard @ 10:31 pm
