Democrats Against War Because they Don’t Want Bush to Get Credit
3/19/2003

I have come to the conclusion that the Democratic Party is against any kind of war with Iraq, simply because they are afraid that we will succeed. If we succeed in removing Saddam Hussein from power, George W. Bush will be praised for his accomplishments, and his supporters will increase. The Democrats continue to criticize the President until they are blue in the face, and they argue that we should let Saddam Hussein remain in power. Then, when we are attacked by terrorists, they will blame the President for letting such an attack happen. I am glad that Bush is standing his ground, and moving forward with an attack. The evidence against Saddam and his ties to Al Qaeda is overwhelming, and the Democratic Party knows it, but they refuse to admit it, because they want to regain what little power they have. When Bush does something that is good for the nation, the Democratic Party loses face, and they also lose power, and the party is out to gain power. I believe they actually want him to fail at most things he does, so that when election time comes they can claim that having a republican president was not good for the nation, and thus, get more votes for the democratic candidate. I can see right through all this nonsense, and I believe most other republicans do too. It is not going to work though, because Bush is going to succeed in bringing this nation some relief. It is about time we had a God-fearing, moral President. Hurray!
