Democrat’s Strategy Will Lead To Their Defeat

This excellent speech recently given to attendees at CPAC is why I like Ken Melmen, our party leader, so much. He has character, personality, and most of all is very well spoken and even-tempered. On the other hand, Howard Dean, who is the Democratic party leader, often erupts at public events, spews hate, and blames America for many the world’s problems.

Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and other far-left democrats contiune to try to beat republicans by trying to criminalize them. When democrats are honest about where they stand on issues, they cannot win at the ballot box, except in places like New York and California. So their strategy has been, for the last five years, and will continue to be one of personal attacks against republicans. They have done everything in their power to try to impune us. It started when Bush was elected President. First they accused him of stealing the election. But it was proven by many media outlets to be inaccurate. Then they tried to nail war crimes on Donald Rumsfield. They also tried to impune Bush’s military Service with fake national guard documents. They tried to make Tom Delay out to be a criminal, but had to jury shop several times before they finally got an indictment. They tried to get Cheney and Scooter Libby on charges of outing a CIA agent who wasn’t even covert, and the list goes on and on. The far left have accused Bush of being a terroist. They have also tried to link elected republicans to lobbying scandals, even when democrats have accepted more money from lobbyists than repubilcans. They claim President Bush intentionally lied about WMD’s, and this talking point continues to spread, even though almost every intelligence agency in the world agreed with our assesment. They will go so far as to try to impeach the President because of this, or because he is spying on our phone calls. Of course this article about the recetly released Saddam tapes will take most of the wind out of that sail.

In short, they try to make everything we do into a scandal, or criminal act. But everytime they do that, they fail. All these false accusations and conspiracy theories just do not stick. The American public knows these false accusations are exactly that; false. So, I  encourage them to keep up this strategy, because it makes them look more desperate. The American people know that they are doing this because if they ran on issues, they would get slaughtered. But they will get slaughtered even worse if they keep doing what they are doing. Most people think these party leaders are just a bunch of whiny babies.

Speaking of excellent speeches, check out the State of the Union if you haven’t already. In my book this rates as one of the best speeches the President has given in his political career.
