Most of the U. S. is Conservative!

If you examine USA Today’s Election 2004 country map it proves that the heart of America is indeed conservative. It is astounding that the vast majority of counties are red. This is true, even for the most liberal states. I think that this country will continue to vote that way until the democratic party starts to move towards the middle. The party will have to go through a civil war for that to happen though, and it won’t be pretty. I’m predicting that it won’t happen until well after 2008, and that conservatives will continue to win elections until it does happen. The party will have to be dominated by people like Zell Miller, Joe Lieberman, and others like them. A party that is dominated by people like Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and Micheal Moore will be a party that will always be in the minority.
